As we get ready to eat some homemade cake and all sorts of other goodies that are clearly not in my diet this evening I just wanted to share last year’s New Years Eve wedding with you since it’s featured on TheKnot.com right now. Last week before we left for the holidays I was able to squeeze in an engagement shoot with Brigid+Steve. At first I was skeptical that the weather would work when we penciled it in, but sure enough as we got closer I saw that we were actually supposed to get some really nice light for a shoot. No snow and some good light…. no complaints! Ok I can complain about the fact that it was literally about 10 degrees (with a wind chill so cold I won’t even comment), but since I was the one behind the camera and all burled up I won’t :)) Huge props to Brigid+Steve for braving the cold and for being such easy subjects to work with. Hope you enjoy some of the photos we were able to grab…

It’s that time of year again, time for the Clark+Walker annual photo contest! Sweet! For those of you who are new to our blog – every year we have a photo contest at the end of the year. Each year we choose a new category for the contest, we’ve done everything from best cake to best bouquet to best portrait. This year we are doing “BEST GROUP SHOT!” We’ve had a lot of fun watching our signature, relaxed bridal party shots evolve over the last couple of years and are excited about showcasing our favorites. They say you never forget first times. And this, my friends, was my first video shoot for Clark + Walker Studio.

I’ll certainly never forget that day as Alisha kept a careful eye on my every move to make certain I was getting the great shots that has made Clark + Walker such a prominent name in wedding photography / videography in the Capital Region. In lieu of such a high pressure situation for yours truly, (and if you’ll indulge me for a moment) — I do believe we have a winner!

Thank you to Kate + Randy for allowing me to capture your wedding for my first time! You guys make a fabulous couple and I’m so pleased to have been a part of your celebration!
